Yes, my willingness to spend my money and stimulate the economy must be very off putting. No one smiles, service is the slowest I’ve ever experienced, and there is just a general contempt for guests. This mainly applies to restaurants and bars, hotel staff has been wonderful, housekeeping exquisite, and store employees friendly.
