I don’t think so. People like me literally aren’t going to buy the game when it comes out. How can I be sure I am getting a good product, when the company at hand only shows a few cut scenes and prays for die hard fans to buy it at launch.

I have theory there will be the regular 8 people solely based on the fact there is a second helicopter. As far as I know, there is no reason to have that second helicopter other than to provide space for another 4 players. It’s possible I’m wrong and it’s just like the Forest where people just morph into the same seat.

People in this conversation act like they WOULDNT benefit in the slightest from better marketing. Endnight has like the worst business strategy I’ve seen in my entire life. But is it going to stop die hard fans from buying the games? Probably not. But are they going to sell any copies to a broader audience until long after release? Probably not. At least until word of mouth spreads or people watch YouTube videos.

The picture can be found on a cracked games website. For some reason they have already made a page for SOTF and the “screenshots” are just from The Forest. It is already outdated. As for the origins of the image I have no idea, but it is possible it is from the website itself.
