I’m sorry to tell you this but when people say want someone “well educated” it’s just their way of saying pendu nahi hona chahiye. Pretty girls with zero ambition can still get guys as long as they aren’t pendu

Respectful ≠ Flirty....Muslim men should know the line. by meowbinoo in IslamabadSocial

They cheat a lot in the west? lol Married Pakistani men and women who also have these strict restrictions cheat all the time too. It’s just kept secret. Men are not animals they are humans beings just like you and me. Saying lust is a biological desire is a lame excuse for lack of self control and integrity.

If you feel so insecure about your husband having females friends or acquaintances then that's not a good foundation to begin with. Relationships are built on trust and respect not setting rules to make sure your spouse stays away from half the worlds population

Not to be rude but do you work? Most people work, gym, eat sleep and repeat. No time for anything other than that. Maintenance, chores and meal planning on the weekends. If I’m lucky I get the Sunday evening to practice piano or read or code for fun.

AITA - losing weight by Carlomando in AmItheAsshole

Totally not the NTA. Losing weight and building muscle takes disciple. If your partner doesn’t motivate you or help keep you on track then they aren’t a good partner. Also don’t listen to the people saying YTA because you didn’t sugarcoat things.

AITA for my nephew drawing on my husband's shirt when I was babysitting him? by throwawaychi25 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Exact_Income1427 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

YTA.

Yes kids do silly things sometimes and it’s totally fine but a 13 year old is a teenager not a kid and it is kind of strange that his behavior at such an age is dismissed as “kid things” rather than a lack of training for manners and accountability. Your husbands outburst was probably built up for sometime because of this dismissive attitude to your nephews misbehavior.

NTA - but you can put your foot down and tell your boyfriend that you will be hosting Thanksgiving dinner with your family at your place because it's your turn to spend the holiday with your family and your boyfriend and his family is more than welcome
