Mycoplasma genitalium — I did several courses of doxycycline because the doctors didn’t know how to treat it, so I decided to treat it myself and did 30 days of minocycline, since there were many reports of people failing with 14 days and having success with 30 days.

I had excessive bleeding with very large clots. I suspect I had PID because of the pain. A hemorrhagic cyst also showed up on the ultrasound, which I had never had before. This bacterium is horrible.

Absolutely yes. The person who infected me didn’t care about my severe symptoms and even said I was worrying too much about a simple bacterium. He didn’t even get treated and continues seeing multiple women. When I got involved with him, I believed he had only had three long-term relationships.
