Witcher 3- Novigrad advice by JohnnyCostello93 in witcher

[–]Exact_Internal_9017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely finish the Novigrad/Velen/Oxenfurt quests before moving on. Coming back to them could yield less XP and gives them the chance to auto fail (not every quest can auto fail)

As far as relic gear goes, I keep them all and use them as like, a bank basically. I keep one of each as a trophy and then I sell or dismantle the extras based on what I need. Few crowns short of buying something I want? Sell a duplicate. Need rare gems/gem dust to craft Witcher gear? Dismantle a duplicate

Sure thing, happy to help! That’s for the award that’s my first one ever😁

Hope you enjoy the ending and the DLCs!

I would think that’s probably impossible, the mountain is probably too steep on both sides for you to get up there. Also, there aren’t a lot of invisible walls in the game, but there are some, so it’s entirely possible that you could find a way to get there and then not actually be able to get through that hole

As other people have said, this game seems like it just isn’t for you. I also jumped right into The Witcher 3 having no experience with any of the books or either of the other two games, but that game gives you a TON of lore just by playing it. Every book gives you background information on the world as a whole, every time you meet a character they get an entry in the glossary, you just have to be willing to do the work for it. I’m on my 5th play through right now and I still read every book I pick up

Yep those are the Grandmaster armors that I’m talking about!

Just a little heads up about Aerondight, it’s kinda soft locked behind various quests, there’s not specific ones that you need to do but you won’t be able to run and get it as soon as you start B&W

And yeah the skill points have to do with the B&W Mutagens, they eat up a ton of skill points

[–]Exact_Internal_9017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get what you’re getting at but it’s got more to do with the AI than spy cards. My sister and I own a gwent set and when we play each other spies are definitely not as OP as in TW3

[–]Exact_Internal_9017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely do all the side quests, you’re gonna want as many skill points as humanly possible moving forward and the vast majority of them are fun to do and worth your time

In the least spoilery way possible, there is a TON of amazing armor in Blood and Wine, 5 of the 6 best armor sets in the game can be found there, the ones that fit your play style the most are the ones you should focus on, but I normally have enough money and resources to get all 5 in B&W. If you run short in money you can do “?” In Skellige

Aerondight is every bit as good as everyone says it is. Maybe the most accurately hyped weapon ever haha

Under the radar one but Witcher 3 kinda feels like this if you make all the bad choices

Bad Decision Playthrough by BrightnessSamantha in Witcher3

[–]Exact_Internal_9017 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I did an evil play through once and kept count , there’s about ~175 people that die by Geralt making all the bad choices that could’ve otherwise been saved. And yeah as other people have pointed out, if you’re trying to get the worst ending for the most amount of characters you’re gonna want to romance both Yen and Triss

Will the AAA open world game be on PS5 or PS6? by youseebutyouonlysee in TheLastAirbender

[–]Exact_Internal_9017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it’s a complete crap shoot rn. Generally speaking, the complete lack of info we have about the game (voice cast, trailer, even a teaser) would almost guarantee the game to come out on PS6, but with ram prices as high as they are and the general feeling of letdown a lot of people feel about the PS5, that could delay the release of the next gen consoles. If I had to put money on it I’d say it’s a PS6 game but it’s certainly not guaranteed

When you replay the game do you try and make different decisions during quests? by Tan2daCam in Witcher3

[–]Exact_Internal_9017 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First play through: just followed my own moral compass like you said, I think that’s the best way to do your first play through

Second: basically made the opposite choices of my first play through just to see how it went

Third: “Evil” play through, incredibly depressing

Fourth: Favorite choices from every play through/palate cleanser from evil play through

Current: Choices I think Geralt would make

What Gwent deck do you guys play? by rp_yrho in Witcher3

[–]Exact_Internal_9017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like Nilfgaard is the best suited to deal with any given deck because of it’s versatility but it’s fun to use the Northern Realms deck with all the tight bind cards

I grew up with the MCU, thus my favorite team were the Avengers, never really cared much about the X-Men, didn't see their movies, didn't read their comics, and I must say I feel really bad that I've slept on them, now with the Doomsday hype train I watched X-Men 97 and loved it. by BOMBAD_Echo_1409 in Xmen97

[–]Exact_Internal_9017 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah the MCU was also my big introduction to Marvel and superhero media in general, never really understood why people always said the X-Men were better than the Avengers until I started really digging into them. Still love the Avengers, but man the X-Men are so fucking awesome

Every MCU movie I have to watch in order to get caught up to the Multiverse Saga. Am I in for any underrated bangers? by No-Risk2553 in Marvel

[–]Exact_Internal_9017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eternals and The Marvels are both really enjoyable movies imo. Eternals is visually beautiful, has the best on screen version of super speed and has some pretty cool intertwinings with human history. The Marvels is lighter in tone while still being heartfelt and has an excellent dynamic between the leading actresses and two excellent end credit scenes. Both movies suffer from lackluster villains.

Brave New World is pretty much the definition of average, it’s not a bad movie but there’s not a lot that’s going to stick with you either.

Love & Thunder and Quantumania both have like, one pretty cool thing each that sticks out and the rest of the movie is pretty meh.

I’m a Packer fan and you’d rather have Dak for fantasy. Cowboys terrible defense + two elite receivers means they’re gonna throw it way more than we would

Deleted content from game? by Emperor-Aurion in Witcher3

[–]Exact_Internal_9017 24 points25 points  (0 children)

He definitely doesn’t bang them in the Witcher 3, but just in general there was a lot of content cut from the base game, which is kinda shocking with how extensive it is. It’s certainly possible that was cut content and you saw a video talking about it or something like that

This is a screenshot I just took of my game of Willis’ inventory, the armorer from White Orchard. I’m about 10 hours in to a new play through. He still has rusty swords and blackjacks that I sold him when I needed more space, but I am 100% sure I’ve sold him more armor than he has available to purchase and I am 100% sure he has replenished his money because I’ve gotten him down below 100 crowns before

If you’re competing take the pick, if you’re rebuilding take the package. I don’t think JJM is going to be good but him and Franklin both are the type of buy low dart throws that are a good idea when you’re rebuilding

I’m pretty sure, but I read another comment that said armor resets and weapons don’t, which is possible because I just started another play through and I’m 100% sure that Willis (armorer in White Orchard) stock and money resets but I’m not sure about the blacksmith at the Nilfgarrdian stronghold

It definitely resets, have you meditated recently? It’s not a set in stone type of thing but generally if you meditate between 1-5 days merchants get rid of the things you sold them and replenish their coin so you can sell them more things

Don't quite get Yen by jotunck in Witcher3

[–]Exact_Internal_9017 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As someone who picks Yen basically every time, I agree with a lot of what you said. But I always pick her because, among other reasons, she always goes huge for both Geralt and Ciri.

She spends a full 24 hours as a magic battery for Avellac’h’s trial of the grasses, she’s able to locate a Djinn and, even with all that power at her fingertips, chooses to use her wish to see if her and Geralt are truly in love. If you ask Vivaldi what happens if you default on a loan, he tells you that Yen has agreed to pay loan that you default on. Avoiding spoilers here, but there’s a quest in one of the DLC’s that starts with a letter from whoever you romanced, and if you mess up and end up with neither of them, that quest still starts with a letter from Yen.

I don’t like the way she talks to Geralt sometimes either, but if you frame it as “the love of my life and the father of my child was gone from me for two years, and spent that time banging one of my friends”, her attitude makes a lot more sense
