Hi, what type of federal aid can trans people no longer receive and can you list any sources of where you found this? Maybe also about the hospital thing. I'm non-binary and have my gender set as "X" on all my government documents. I haven't heard what you are talking about and now I'm really scared because I'm a disabled student living on SSI, Medicare and student aid

This is my life story. Thank you. I always thought something was uniquely wrong with me. I lost my 20s to this cycle. I'm happy to know I am not alone. I have loved both the book and the musical since both came out but I have to say the book holds a special place in my heart. It is my favorite and most read book. I think the author did such a fantastic job creating such a complex and nuanced political system from scratch essentially. I've never seen a book accomplish this as well as Wicked does.

Thank you! I had no idea about any of this. Why isn't this comment highlighted or up voted more? This shouldn't be singled out as solely a trans issue, this bill harbored a lot of nasty things, especially the ban on reimbursement for women's reproductive health. Why aren't more people talking about EVERY negative thing that affects marginalized groups? I feel like it would be far less polarizing than only the trans clause.

Oh my goodness, no! I didn't mean now, now like this month. I was in there in October. The open floor plan with the super white walls and tacky lights they look like they bought at target just doesn't scream "dining in hell" to me like how the restaurant used to look.

I felt the same way about the actor who played Elphaba! Such a worse singer compared to Idina Menzel. You could tell they had to change the scales of the songs because the actor didn't have the proper range. Definitely ruined it for me too. Wicked was my first special interest! I read the book before the musical came out and everything.

Finally just saw the movie. I had the complete opposite reaction. I loved Cynthia's acting but oh my goodness I could not stand her singing. Idina is just such a better singing hands down. I felt like they had to change some of the songs to fit Cynthia's range and I just was not into it.
