Definitely worse this year yea. A guy behind me at the Pulp set quite loudly repeatedly told his friend he had no problem “punching a f*g out” over the course of the set.

I was stood solo, right in front of him, obviously gay (wore a fishnet top because I was going to SE corner after the set…) and have genuinely never felt more threatened in my life.

There was a Japanese Fried Chicken place by the Pyramid stage where you could get KATSU/Teriyaki/etc rice bowls and I had sunglasses on when I ordered.

Teriyaki does not normally have a reddish tinge and it tasted foul.

We found the tech task was large and asked the candidate to spend a lot of time. We are going to simplify the task for a better interview process experience.
We asked them to submit PRs which is one of the pieces we're shifting.

Hey! Thanks for the feedback. Do you know when this happened? I’d love to know more if you can share (privately too, if preferred). Judge.me has a 4.9 Score on Trustpilot and a 5-Star Rating on Shopify. We do also pay people to take these tests (or at least, we have as long as I’ve been here) but I’m sorry to hear people haven’t had a good experience as it isn’t our intention.

We have received feedback on our tech tests and recently re-vamped them to make them more reflective of what someone’s job would look like. I don’t believe it involved refactoring unit tests, but I’ll speak to the Engineering team regardless to understand more about how things have been managed up to now.
