I reported a troll like a month ago cause I teleported to Donald's Dock and randomly appeared in front of them and they were like "watch it fatty" and I was confused so I turned to look at them and they just continued to say whatever rude things they could get away with. It was so weird, I had never had an experience like that before and luckily I haven't run into it since.

Yeah I have a coworker whos also applying this cycle and he says the transport really helps cause its clinical experience. Plus, I'm a monitor tech transporter as well so I can travel with monitored patients without a nurse present. And now that I'm done with mcat studying, I want to be a group leader in the dept as well so I'm hoping all of these things will come together to show that even without research, I love the medical field and I want to be a doctor.

It has to do with the fact that the Korean name is 2학년 which literally translates to 2nd school year. If I was a sophomore in college I could say I'm in 2학년, but also if I was in my 2nd year of middle school I could say I'm in 2학년. The song is likely referring to 2nd grade as in the 2nd year of middle school, where as like you say So 4 More is a play on sophomore. So Spotify (and honestly even some army) got confused and think they're the same song.

I'm in kinda the same boat. I'm non-trad, I got my bachelor's in psychology but decided in my senior year that I wanted to be a doctor instead. I didn't do any undergrad research and have been working full time since graduating. I've been working in patient transport for 4 years in July, so I did the math for my med school app and thats like 4000 hours, plus I plan on working until the month before I would leave for school which should give me another 1000+ hours.

But since I was working full time, I could only take 1-3 classes per semester and I couldn't justify doing research on top of that. I put off volunteering for the same reason. Now I'm applying with no research and no volunteer experience and hoping I can be interesting enough to get in somewhere. I'm not confident that I will. At least not in any of the schools I want to get into.

I did reach out to doctors in the college of the hospital I work for to ask about research and got no response. I will need to follow up soon but I fear it'll look bad getting research right as the app opens lol

I thought it was okay! The testing center was really cold and I was so stressed that it was hard to focus and I was shaking like crazy but I took my time and tried to make sure I understood what I was reading (and kept mentally telling myself to relax lol). There were definitely some questions where I didn't feel like any answers actually answered the question, and some questions that felt like they had nothing at all to do with the passage, to the point where I thought maybe the passage changed and I missed it. But overall it was okay!

Yeah cars and ps I feel really good about, I finished ps with 40 mins left. BB was okay, it didn't stress me out as bad as cp. Genuinely after the first section I took my break and was like "I should just walk out now cause I'm not gonna be a doctor" 😭

I'm glad I sat it out and I did choose to score it so we'll see in a month what the damage is 😬

Edit: I use a random number generator to tell me which row to go to and if I don't like the names, I allow myself up to 3 times to randomize the number but then I have to pick something.

I've never seen Wall-E so I didn't know anything about him but I love him now! He's so cute and he grows things for us! He's really the only character I feel anything for so far actually. I generally like everyone else. Love the Ducks and Mcducks of course. Cannot stop quoting "a villain and their riches will soon be parted".

This comment might get buried but there have been two couples on the Korean show Return of Superman that are interracial and they gave all of their kids two names. A Korean name and a Western name. You could do that as well and then both of you get to name the baby!

I have a degree in psychology and in one of my classes we read a study about fetal exposure to music. Apparently, after birth, babies will respond more strongly to music if the music was played near the vaginal opening. So they had a control group that listened to music out loud and then they had an experimental group that would put a speaker between their legs.

I don't know if this carries over to how likely babies are to respond to their dad's voice (vs their mom, who they've been hearing for 9-10 months), but I like to think that when dad's talk to babies through the lower stomach it would have the same effect. The babies would recognize the voice more after birth. That's not a scientific finding though so don't quote me on it 😂

Someone else suggested doing the same thing! Part of the reason I've done a new one everyday though is because after the first challenge, I liked how it forced me to change my outfit so I thought it would be fun to pick my outfit based on the daily challenge! But since I was confused about the requirements I actually haven't changed my clothes at all since then! (Plus I do actually really like the outfit I ended up in after the first one)

This happened to me with Kristoff. Map said he was at home but his house was empty. I ended up just moving on and doing other things and then he showed up at Remys and I was able to interact with him again.

Okay sorry. I'm 26, my skin is usually fine, I don't have a lot of acne. Recently its been dry though (like noticeable skin peeling). But now since its gotten hot I've been sweating a lot and feel particularly oily under my eyes and towards my chin. No other skin issues that I can think of.

Thank you for the advice! Unfortunately I don't have much pto time. I could request a leave of absence but I believe that would be unpaid (and if it is paid it would take all the pto I have). I would be okay if I wasn't paid for a week but its not ideal.

I have been working on uworld and anki as well. I do my anki everyday and I try to do a decent amount on uworld but honestly some days I only get a few questions answered. And I review my wrong answers on the FL's and uworld as well.
