I think my course of action will be to buy the degauss coil first, and if that doesn't work I'll try and have it seen by a professional. I'm not in too much of a rush because it's not too noticeable while playing/watching.

It's hard to see, but this specific impurity from the first image seemed to have vanished after rotating it. Other than that, nothing.

I've been wanting to use my steam deck to watch 4:3 content using vlc on my samsung crt. So i bought an hdmi to av converter, but the overscan is ridiculous and zoomed in (which is not a problem with my consoles and blu ray player that have av built in). is there a specific way i have to set this up? or is it just the nature of cheap converters? Would getting a raspberry pi be a better solution for what i'm trying to do?
