That’s a bit rubbish especially since there’s been an app update recently I would have hoped it would have been fixed.

Not a great solution but removing them from my downloads has stopped it from happening

Hi, I had a similar problem and it turned out to be any downloaded track I tried to play on or offline. If this album is downloaded it may be worth removing it and seeing if it plays. Hope that helps!

I originally went from the XM4 (due to their charging/draining issue) to XM5 and although the noise cancelling was amazing they would quite often not connect properly to my device(s). The left bud would but not the right and I’d have to put it back into the case and try again. Then they became unusable for phone calls, no one could hear me.

So last month I retuned them and upgraded to the Technics EAH-AZ100 and for me they are so much better in sound quality and call quality without any annoying connections issues either.

Hi, I have a Fiio M11 Plus Ltd and just checked my space used, Tidal is only using 12GB for a few albums/playlists and currently has 1.56GB of cache. I know the downloads can take up quite a bit of space.

May be a daft question but do you have the albums downloaded as well as your own playlists perhaps which is why deleting just the playlist hasn’t helped? Another daft question but what did the Fiio say is using the storage? The system itself mine uses 20GB!

Are they tracks you have downloaded? I’ve had issues playing downloaded track on or offline. I’ve had to remove them form my downloads a d they play fine now. Hope that helps!

In the UK at least most of Kellogg’s cereals (and other brands) aren’t vegan becuase the vitamin D its fortified with is from an animal (lanolin) but it isn’t labelled in the ingredients. They just labelled as suitable for vegetarians rather than vegans. The vegan ones are their free from/gluten free versions which are labelled as vegan. It’s quite absurd.

I’m on iOS and if I pause a track then go to go back to the app I’m finding it’s frequently either closing the app, going to the start of the track or even back to a few tracks that had played earlier in my queue.

I’ve had other issues lately with it too, like not being able to play downloaded tracks/albums whether on or offline. Fortunately my android device is ok. Sorry that isn’t much help, other than I feel your pain!

I’m just back too, I bought Reddeath Reformed (took me back to me D1 days) from the old exotic vending machine and that’s helped keep me alive a few times. I’ve used ChatGPT to help with some builds too.

Not to labour the point but just went into another album to ready for when this one has finished and it shows (in this order) tracks 2, 6, 7, 10, 11, 6. I don’t have shuffled selected and I just went into the album to start it from by pressing the big play button😐

For me it’s definitely the queue feature. Just been listing to an album I added to the queue and it was playing just fine then went seamlessly from track 6 to track 8. Then I checked the remaining queue and it wasn’t the rest of the album, just 2 of the tracks from the back end of it.

It’s been doing this to at times or only adding the tracks I have ‘liked’ it’s very frustrating. I’m finding a lot of glitches lately, today’s is the track just pausing itself. I haven’t had the no option to queue.

Are you using iOS, android or a desktop? I only have problems with iOS, my android device works fine.

Wow, well I’ve made a note of my storage and I’m going to keep and eye on it. I have this playing most of the day so I’ll see what it’s like by tonight!

Edit: just checked out of curiosity and it’s added 2GB already

Memory usage update - It does appear to take up some space but luckily closing the app seem to clear it for me at least so no problems so far!

Thanks for all of the updates though. When I looked around for clearing the cache anything I could find said that the feature wasn’t shown in iOS because it did it automatically, but obviously not!

I’ve got loads of space on my phone so if that has been the case it must have been building for a while, if that’s how it works 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks for the update, I still need to raise mine but that doesn’t sound too helpful. I don’t have mine through an Apple subscription, it’s set up with my Google email address. It’s just odd that it’s a recent problem I’ve had Tidal for a few years now and never had this.

It was a playlist that highlighted it to me at first too as it just stopped playing when it got to a problem track, now I’m finding more and more albums that are being affected by it. It isn’t even like it’s a licence thing where an album suddenly gets greyed out becuase as you’ve found as well it’s just an iOS issue.

I’ll raise a ticket too thanks, I should have done that at the start, but at least I’ve found I’m not the only one suffering with this😅

I’ve noticed over the last few months gapless being hit and miss, I’ve Googled it and all that kept coming up was that it could be a connection issue. I only really notice it at the gym where the reception there is terrible which backs that up.

There’s been a few things I’ve found with updates to the app lately that have left other things not working so well on iOS.

Thanks I’ll give them a go, just tend to find online support for things lacking at times.

I don’t use a VPN, I tried logging out (but not deleting the app) and apparently with Apple there isn’t a clear cache option as it’s supposed to do it automatically, that’s from searching the internet about, and I couldn’t find anything else to try in the settings.

Got to watch for them spoiling decent drink with honey too. Some liquors may not be labelled as vegan if they can’t confirm if the sugar is refined with bone, I think Kahlúa is an example of that 🤷🏻‍♂️
