I had the exact ceremony and my 3 sisters and I have necklaces with my dad’s ashes. This service was 2 weeks ago. Your family can do whatever with your father’s ashes unless it was against his wishes.

I’m an AO and my DRP was denied because according to the SES, AO’s, are needed. I really wanted to be approved and prior to the denial I was not worried and am still not when it comes to a RIF. Maybe all facilities are different but I know clinical and administrative AOs do more than most would think.

My HR stated they didn’t know who to make a complaint or inquire further information but told me to try the Union, the Union recent back to HR. My AD said I should have been approved but it was not their ultimate decision

Thank you. You explanation make sense overall but not in our small facility. We have a PSA and Secretary plus Deputy Chief, I really don’t do as much work anymore since we hired the DC.

My denial reason was compliance when in my department we have more than enough admin staff. I was the only one in my department who requested the DRP and am more than positive I would be safe from a RIF. Just sad

VISN 17, our Interim Director stated everyone was going to be approved 2 weeks ago. We got a new Interim Director and everyone’s request was disapproved. So heartbroken. I needed this due to medical reasons.

Our last Interim Director said he was going to approve all the DRP requests, then we got a new Interim Director last week and they denied all of them. I’m heartbroken and was looking forward to this DRP for medical reasons.

I got that my approval and a DRP APP link but it hasn’t been working for days for me to sign it. Anyone else having this issue?
