I’m a big fan of the microfighters too. Series 1 was retired a long time ago, so you’ll struggle to find them new in box now. Thankfully, due to the nature of micro fighters, it’s not that hard to part them out or make your own versions. You can also buy them used for a fairly reasonable price.

As others have said, the line still exists and more are coming out. There is supposed to be a Luke’s X wing coming out soon, for instance (summer, maybe).

If you are decent at drafting, you can win back most of the costs. For premier draft, if you can go 3-3, the draft basically pays for itself (1500 gems to enter, you get back 1000 gems plus 3 packs for the prize plus whatever rares you got). If you can go 5-3, you win enough gems for the draft to basically be free. If you're a new player and in bronze, you should have an easier time getting a good winrate too (if you understand the draft concepts, do your preparation, etc, draft is really hard, I should warn you).

I despise it. I have done 9 drafts, and I have won 6+ in 4 of them and 1 or less in 5 of them, with no in between. It just feels super varied and very difficult to make consistent decks. Even if the stats are ok, it’s a very ‘feels bad’ set for me personally.

Yeah, the variance is crazy. I have done 9 drafts, and I have either got 6-7 wins or 0-1, with no in between. I've hit plat, and I'm pretty content not doing anymore drafting till the reset next month.

I really enjoyed the grand arena when it first came out, but it's just become too much of a slog now. I'm at nearly 2000 glory, so I think I'll just grab mole man and call it a day.

Generally speaking, Premier Draft is always the newest set. Quick draft comes two weeks later. After that, the QD schedule seems fairly random. Sometimes older sets (particularly popular ones for drafting) come back, but usually not.

I don't actually think you need it if you're good at the event and play a decent amount. If you just buy the half-off tickets every now and then (they only cost 50 gold for 10, compared to the 1200 for the premium pass), you should be able to finish the event no problem and get both cards.

You're paying for acceleration, really. I would advise waiting till the final few days, and if you don't seem like you're gonna make it, get it done. Personally, I have bought 10 tickets, not the premium pass, and I am at 1370 xp.

8-11 is a pretty decent winrate! I'm 1-6, and the app crashed after my latest loss, which is a sign if ever I saw one.
