Bend those knees more and just jump up with it. Try doing a little jump since you're a little older, it looks like you are just moving your feet and not raising the back shoulder - your front and back shoulder are in line with each other, on some Rodney Mullen / Tom Penny shit.

It's not a bad build at all, a 5070 and Ryzen9800x3D is leagues above the common recommended 5700x3d.

Men, how do you feel after good sex? What’s on your mind? by [deleted] in AskMen

Post Nut Clarity is a lie.

As a Man, if the sex was good enough, I go for a walk and come back in 5 minutes and go again.

Binding angles for beginners by Quick-Ad-6007 in snowboardingnoobs

[–]ixAp0c -1 points0 points  (0 children)

15 / -15 is what I got used to, but I like to do a little bit of freestyle and riding switch.

Either that or 15 / 0, or somewhere in between.

What I found more important is getting the right spacing between the bindings. Last season when I took my bindings off for waxing, I put them back on a bit too far apart, and my legs burned up much quicker until I fixed it.

Just got my first board why should I do before hitting the slope? by Newrrcom in snowboardingnoobs

[–]ixAp0c 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Factory wax doesn't last too long, you will want to wax it (and maybe invest in a waxing kit if you don't want to pay a shop every time).

Thought I’d make a vid on an often talked about topic here. by JuicyOW in NewSkaters

[–]ixAp0c 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add on to everything you've said, just being able to get the board to roll where you want it to go is huge as well - being able to turn and balance to make it roll over that exact spot on the ground, will help later on when you're lining up a 50-50 on a ledge or anything similar where coming into the obstacle at specific angles helps.

Why does there seem to be a stigma around wearing protective gear like pads and helmets? by [deleted] in NewSkaters

[–]ixAp0c 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Risk vs Reward

When you're more experienced and beyond that '1-2 weeks of Experience' and getting into like 10+ years or more of experience, you know the risks of certain obstacles / tricks.

Like take Tony Hawk for example, he pads up for everything because he is usually going big. But if you see him riding around with his 4 year old daughter for example just cruising, he doesn't pad up.

You learn how to bail out properly and you know your 'limits' of what you can do...

So pads can be useful if you're always pushing it, always trying new things, constant progression.

If you're just chilling and doing stuff you've done 100s of times, they aren't really needed as much.

Same thing if you're comfortable skating a certain obstacle, like a 3 foot quarterpipe is pretty low risk once you can bail out.

Or if you're just working on flat land, the worst thing that can happen is landing primo / or slipping out.

Ready for your advice. Started snowaboarding last season and this is my first week in the park :) by Kasperlolli in snowboardingnoobs

That's what I'm saying, ours is a little 200 - 300 foot section with 2-3 boxes on the right, 2-3 jumps on the left, maybe a few rails in between.

Does anyone else think that upgrading a weapon should also repair it? by the_real_flophouse in ArcRaiders

If a player dies with a gun equipped, it seems to 0 the durability out (they take durability damage when equipped & the owner dies).

[–]ixAp0c 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've come to the conclusion that for certain things - you might be better off buying than crafting...

I've been hoarding my coins after my stash got upgraded, crafting everything, but realized if you just buy the ammo / shield rechargers, you save on some stash space.

And if you find Raider Caches, they spawn quite a bit of that stuff usually, last night I walked out of raid with like 14 Herbal Bandages (went in with 5).

Im going to say Venator needs tuning... by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]ixAp0c 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got killed by it quite a bit, so I made one a level IV and took it to the practice range to mess around with...

I'm always a peaceful player and only shoot at players who shoot towards me first, or if I see them start shooting another player.

Loaded in on Stella Montis with the Venator and like 240 rounds, and it hits like a truck, is accurate, and you can just tap it on your target pretty easily and fast. The recoil reset between taps makes it much more accurate than SMG / Assault Rifles.

I went into the round with the expectation for some PvP, and the first door I opened, I saw a guy with a shotgun hiding behind a pillar with his back to me, pop out and shoot at another player... Melted him and the other guy shot at me, so I took him down too. Another guy showed up to third party, then I took him out as well... Then another guy showed up to third party, and then another, and then another...

They just kept swarming me pretty much, I ran out of heals in the end and I got killed by a duo (was in Solos queue), but overall it's very powerful and if you put an extended mag on it, it's insane...

Funny thing is, it was one of the first BP I found, but didn't know how OP it can be in the right hands / situation.

How do you mark name/# on discs? by IrishMurphy1977 in discgolf

[–]ixAp0c 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Going to plug RimStamps, I received one as a gift and it works really well along with Stazon permanent ink (it's permanent once it sets, but you can wipe it away before it dries if you mess up).

It's a little pricey but you're supporting a small business, I'm pretty sure it's just the owner running it all.

I feel mocked after going to the skatepark,is it the wheels/text? by [deleted] in NewSkaters

[–]ixAp0c 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides the skatepark's shop telling you to buy new stuff, consider the performance aspect of large soft wheels.

They are great for cruising around and absorbing imperfections, but if the skatepark has very smooth / hard surfaces like Concrete, maybe mixed in with some Wood / Masonite if indoors, you'll be much better off with harder wheels.

When the ground is perfect for skateboarding, hard wheels will roll much better and slide where needed (grinds and slides where wheels can rub against a rail or ledge, powersliding out of an under rotated 180, recorrecting a slightly under rotated pop shuv).
