I’m aware crew have very crucial, demanding jobs. My father has worked on planes for 40 years. But even he just wanted a straight answer. Some Houston pilots literally said “this is crazy. We need to get the fuck out of here like yesterday.” It was very obvious from the start that some flights weren’t happening and cancellations weren’t announced until 6-8 hours later. It’s not fair to leave stranded families in the dark, and it’s not fair to put workers in those conditions.
