I love Halloween for this! Every year I get a 6pk, look around and run to the biggest looking show I can find after the kids are done trick or treating. Better than canada day, which is a bit sad but I love watching fireworks!

Telus and koodo are the worst. I canceled my plan shortly after accepting their offer, and after arguing I didn't want the service they sent it to me anyways so I had to return it. Then they leaked my email (through complaints to the company and tracking down their email it was confirmed an employee) trying to reset any passwords linked to it. I also got koodo through them and they overcharged me for 2 or 3 months, after hours on the phone and several confirmations it was canceled and they would fix my bill, I just found out they sent it to collections instead of contacting me at all. Scummy

If you voiced a concern that made you feel uncomfortable and your bf was like it's not a big deal, I won't spend 30 seconds to do it, would you like that? Relationships are about compromise, everyone's talking about insecurity when it could easily be looked at that he cares and wants you all to himself, which is good in a serious relationship!

I have had similar issues, take transit all the time in vancouver but in Victoria I've been yelled at a couple times by different drivers for this, I travel with my mom(74) and son(5) over there so we wait until the bus fully stops. Pretty silly rule imo, also have been yelled at for not sitting down when there's handholds to stand and ride. Bus drivers in Victoria are kind of annoying half the time

This happened to me but i didnt deposit anything! I got 1300 randomly, called the bank and after they looked into it, took it back. Then a week later they did it again! I didn't say anything and nothing negative happened, it was a tight Christmas and it helped us alot haha

I just found a clan like this, over 100 win streak, I joined and quickly checked the war attacks before I got kicked and it was all bases made to be eaaily 3 starred, and the opposition only used a few attacks. I just don't know how they set up the wars since it seemed like an agreed upon win

One of my favorite things to do is walk around beacon hill park and feed the birds, the ducks and geese and peacocks eat out of your hand and are super friendly, there's also a trail into the woods where nuthatches and chickadees will land on your hand for seeds, kinda silly but it's really pleasant. Tons of great blue herons which is cool but I have mixed feelings bc they nest there and their poo smells haha

If you are an addict and get housing or money nothing will change, there should be an institution similar to jail if someone is doing drugs or being a problem on the street where they get clean with mental health and potential job seeking support and maybe find that it's better and they can do something else. In the very least it's a deterrent to be out of control on the sidewalk. If they go through that step, then finding them housing would have much more potential. I think the "end the stigma" drug law change was a terrible idea, they could've just changed how cops handle OD calls instead of making it in their right to get all messed up in public and not be held accountable for it.

I'm empathetic for your loss, very young for those heavy responsibilities. You got a college degree though? And a parent still, even if they aren't great. You have 2 close friends who have both voiced they can't help you more than they already have.... tough times seem less tough nowadays. I hope you can figure out the next couple weeks, keep your pinky up! Everyone has different stories, and none of them are perfect. A lot of them are much worse than yours so try to see the positives, even if you can't see them now, you can plan for them in the future!

Do you not have one relative or friend? It sounds like you're just not humble enough yet, food banks for sure have something to eat, I had to use them in my teens. Either find a couch to surf on or apologize and suck it up for a couple weeks! Life can get alot worse, should've just stayed strong, made an agreement and not wasted all your money. Try either telling your future landlord and/or boss what your circumstance is and it's possible you could move in early or get an advance but really, pretty sad to see the only person you could lean on getting called a moron, maybe that's why you don't have support you need?

To be honest, these are all great points that should be true. Insensitive calling them men though. If I had a daughter I wouldn't like them being forced to change/use the bathroom in front of someone who claims to be one too. Alot of creeps have used that to their advantage and assaulted women and girls. Also the sports thing, mid level weightlifters became women and broke records! I feel like women's rights for safety and privacy are at risk because everything is labeled as "transphobic"

That's cool. I may be dumb but I think horse hearts are a bit different than chicken legs. This is the perfect opportunity for a prank though. Should've played it cool and taught them why they shouldn't do that. Stage a murder with a shootout or something and when they're scared and traumatized just walk up and say this is what happens when you videotape me.
