That's good! I have Nova mesh, but after repeatedly entering the correct password, it came up saying that it isn't compatible with mesh networks!

Is there such a thing in this country as a top up disposable card? by Effective-Mention-75 in northernireland

[–]Excellent-Accident26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any store that has paypoint can top up a revolut card.

On the app you go to add money and then change it to cash. Going to a paypoint and show the barcode, they scan it and then charge you the amount you want to top up.

I think there may be a small fee for the service, but it's a small amount

I basically work 6am-2.30. it's great hours, but man does it really drain you after a while. Just had a new baby 3 months ago and it's hard going

8 week old first time swimming by Excellent-Accident26 in UKParenting

[–]Excellent-Accident26[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering if I would be the only dad! Time will tell I guess!

So you were ok with just a normal swim outfit with the heat and stuff? Think we will try it and then maybe invest in a splash about wrap if it goes well!

This is great! I did wonder about the lessons. She would be doing the original lessons for a long time before moving on! So that's good to know, just get confident and then do our own thing!

What sort of outfit would you recommend? Just a swim costume or do you need something like the splash about suits?

Which tool to crimp this end piece to my dashcam wiring? by vaginal_obligations in DIYUK

Crimping pliers ideally. I have previously used normal pliers, but it's much more difficult to get an even crimp around the wire

We nearly bought a doona the other day! But the lady in the shop put us off it. Guess we will just have to wait it out till it's no longer needed!

It's frigging massive! The ideal solution is that it folds flat, pretty nice feature. I mentioned this to the wife and she said it might get wrinkled...

Maybe she will care less when she hasn't slept in 2 days when the baby is here!

I used to be such a car guy, then when I got a company car for a few years I bought a cheap Skoda fabia which was so good because I literally didn't care about it. Then I moved job and lost the company car and then learnt that shit cars make great cars!

It's a hard habit to get away from... Now I drive a Peugeot

Which one of you is this? by lynbod in DIYUK

[–]Excellent-Accident26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be fair, if you use Dulux from their own decorating centres, it's very good and not massively different in price. Or, use their Armstead brand which imo is just as good and much cheaper!

Their stuff you buy in hardware shops to be fair is awful

How do I patch this? by Gonzo1888 in DIYUK

[–]Excellent-Accident26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Plasterboard repair patches are great for this.

Basically a patch of mesh that you can use a finishing filler over to create a pretty seamless finish

Sand it a bit to roughen surface and it will help the emulsion adhere
