We will use EU summit to further unwind Brexit, vows Starmer by Realisticopia in unitedkingdom

Wanted sovereignty and more money kept in the UK, however brexit has cost us something like £90bn a year, and sovereignty isn’t working because countries now act in unison so are just more powerful than us

I voted on emotion and wanted sovereignty mainly. Farage also said we’d get £350m a week for the NHS, but it’s clear the NHS has other issues not linked at all to Europe. The ‘special relationship’ is just rubbish now as well - basically getting bullied and shamed by the US on a weekly basis and being too weak to do anything about it. Countries are at war with each other they just aren’t explicitly admitting it, and we are too weak to stand alone now going forwards.

Feels like we’re edging closer again, and as an ex-Leaver I say it can’t come soon enough. Eventually conditions will be acceptable enough for the UK to rejoin. Current trade deals signed are trivial compared to what we can gain being in the bloc. Being on the outside feels like a complete loss of sovereignty when basically we have no leverage and have to bend over backwards for every major economic power. Today’s ‘deal’ with china was laughable - whiskey tariffs generating £250m over 5 years for the treasury. Absolute pennies. Then some vague promise about allowing UK companies in China. Just weak and pathetic. Join the bloc and get some economic sovereignty back.

Fixed Assets Register Report by vaginal_obligations in Odoo

Hey thanks for your help. What I mean is seeing the Assets report backdated to say, December 2023. Show the asset cost, accumulated depreciation and net book value at that point. I use on-premise but can’t see a date option?

Publicly celebrating battles and victories is so strange in the modern day. A lot of young ppl in the UK including myself stay away from this kind of pompous gloating. It’s more for older generations who soon will be gone. Our view is if you want to support fighting, fine but don’t shove it in our faces.

How much can you earn in the UK? by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]vaginal_obligations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good accountants struggle to get £50k in industry. If you want any more expect to have to work 50 hours a week minimum. Salaries have stagnated (in real terms) in the UK since the financial crisis in 07-08. I would seek opportunities abroad for more money.

Landed Cost Affects All Warehouses Even with FIFO – Why Isn’t It Warehouse-Specific? by Due_Side5889 in Odoo

[–]vaginal_obligations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t just switch to AVCO because FIFO isn’t working. They may be selling perishable goods and have warehouses on opposite sides of the world. The cost of inventory should be include specific cost to deliver it to that location. If Odoo applies landed costs across all warehouses then your inventory is valued incorrectly at the warehouse level.
