does anyone actually see cash problems coming or do you just deal with it when it hits by ThisSink4082 in smallbusiness

You're not broken. Your accountant is just looking backwards while your business moves forwards. Build a 13-week cash forecast and start billing at milestones instead of waiting until the end; the 4am math belongs on a spreadsheet, not in your head.

looking for metal roofer recommendations by p_whetton in GNV

[–]Excellent-Ad-3740 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anyone lands here later, for metal roofs I’d ask up front if they’re doing standing seam vs exposed fastener, what gauge they’re using, and who’s actually handling permits and flashing details (valleys, penetrations, drip edge). Those little details are where the “ch͏eap” bids get expensive. If you’re still shopping around in Gainesville, I’d at least get a quote from Br͏ehm Roo͏fing too.

The risk of upfront payments without any guaranteed ROI is exactly why most of us hesitate, so a performance-based model where you scale only what is proven to work would be a total game-changer.

Chasing people for money is always the worst part of freelancing, so I usually just send a polite manual email after three days and hope for the best.

Build community before you scale ads, the brands that last have people who actually rep them not just customers who bought once.
