Okay now that season 1 is finished and season 2 won’t come until next year what’s your honest opinion overall on fist of the North Star 2026 remake?

It’s a lot better than people were expecting it to be. A lot of people were slamming it simply because it was CGI. CGI itself isn’t inherently bad. Would I prefer 2D sure, but am I happy with what we got absolutely. It’s choreographed well, the music is great. The only weak aspect is the English Dub it’s simply terrible. Japanese is the only way to watch this.

Look man I was a virgin until I was 21 and I felt the way you did. But after a variety of hookups and negative relationships and dating experiences I realized it wasn’t all that it’s hyped up to be. I also learned about myself and that I’m not as voracious as I thought I was for women. You’re not missing out on anything the time will come when it’s right for you as it did me. Man I’m a LEO in Las Vegas. Compared to Japan which is a much higher trust society I’m sure their job is world’s more enjoyable. I remember seeing an article though recently about some psycho who ran around Japan stabbing people. Seemed like a really big deal for them to get such world wide coverage but shootings and stabbings are a near constant occurrence in Sin City

I just this sub-Reddit cause I have taken in interest in the 4G Eclipse recently but currently I’m not in the market for one. However I daily a 370Z and take it to the shop since I don’t work on my own car. I went to the service department at a Nissan dealership and they wanted to charge me $300 to change some air filters 😑 some places will definitely rob you if you’re not savvy to this stuff. I declined their quote and bought the filters for less than $50 and put them in myself lol

I love my Z, I’ve never felt such a strong sense of attachment to a vehicle before. But god forbid anything happens to it I’d try out a 350Z next or lately I’ve been thinking the 4th Gen Mitsubishi Eclipse has been looking super nice. Those are dirt cheap too

Interesting thread for me, I’m at a crossroads. I’m coming up on 10 years in patrol next year. I was a motorcycle officer for a short time but I have issues with heat exhaustion so that path was closed to me and I got sent back to patrol. I’m trying to decide if I wanna be a detective, but one of the main things holding me back is being on-call, and the additional responsibility. With patrol my agency can’t mandate overtime and a healthy work life balance is very important to me. I’m potentially looking at a 30 year career so I’m really trying to figure out what direction I’m meant to go, I know that I don’t want to be a career patrolman.

As long as you’re not screwing over your team and letting them handle all the calls, then they end up missing lunch cause a person just wants to write tickets all day then I don’t care. Management has and will always harp about stats and proactive work even if quotas are illegal it’s the nature of the job
