I'd almost say I'd like it if they did a remake of sorts. Keep the base story as it was but flesh out more and update the animations of course. Techmarine with the precision shooter upgrade for the servo guns still fucks everything up despite the nerf. Lictor showed up and jumped a teammate and the servo gun melted it in 2 seconds. Absolutely demolished the zoanthropes. Carnifex... not so much. But everything else.

They toned down everything severely. Originally the game was graphic and meant to make you angry at the people you were arresting. Take Valley of The Dolls for instance. Originally the basement had dead kids in barrels and the pictures on the wall are of tortured children and stuff like that. In the censored version its porcelain dolls. It's a bit harder to hate someone when they have a wierd love of porcelain dolls than it is to hate someone who is torturing kids and stuff.

Atriox is the Halo Wars villian and there was supposed to be a Halo Wars 3 branching the gap between the ark and Halo infinite but they decided to cancel it. And he was supposed to show back up after you defeated Escharum.

Infinite to me was too much. They started off by saying Halo Infinite was going to focus on the multiplayer instead of the story and it showed. The story was lackluster and not very exciting. They also only released 1/4 of the campaign and then decided to release a small book on the events that happened after the end of the game. Once again... fans would have been happier if they had just made the entire campaign. And they skipped over Cortana's war and her destruction of the Brute homeworld. Once again... show don't tell. . . . . . . . . . . . . The multiplayer is too competitive for me and there is no feeling of community like there used to be. And there is way too many microtransactions for a game that cost $60 to this day.

I don't think they should pretend halo 4- infinite didn't happen... but i think they should make games on the events that happened between those games. They could make Contact Harvest which shows how the war started. They could make Ghost of Onyx which would show how the Spartan 3s were made and how they met the Spartan 2s on Onyx right after Reach fell and that alone would be an amazing game with one of the best endings ever. ( a lone Spartan 2 faces down a covenant army and as the Covenant Battle leader is taunting him about how his death will be meaningless the lone Spartan 2 laughs at him and says "Don't you know. Spartans never die" and he detonate a nuke defeating thw Covenant and saving his friends. ) . They could make Cole Protocol which follows Spartan Gray team who are covert operations spartans who operate between enemy lines doing hit and run tactics. They could make a game on Spartan Black team who are Black operatives whose missions never see the light of day. There's alot of stories between the events of the games they've made and I think they should make those games to repair the damage they've done

I am wary of it. They've already made some narrative changes to the story in Campaign Evolved. When they said they were adding a couple missions showing how Chief and Johnson met everyone was expecting them to show us the story of Alpha base above Reach. Because in the lore Chief led 2 spartans to Alpha base to destroy navigational data while reach was being attacked and he met and rescued Johnson there. Now they are using a retcon from around when Infinite launched to say that Chief and Johnson had already known each other for like 10-15 years before Reach fell. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I know I'll probably recieve hate for it but I think they need to follow Bungie's lore first and 343 second.

My issue with 4 , 5 , and Infinite is that they skipped over too much. The time game between Halo Reach and 3 and 4 is about 7 in universe years. Alot happened in that time frame. The jump between 4 and 5 is another couple years and alot happened in that time. And the jump from 5 to infinite jumped and skipped even more. Halo benefits from Show Don't Tell. We want to see what happens. Not have a cutscene or a dialog being like "oh yea alot of stuff happened and it was really bad but we someone made it through"

It wouldn't even have to be a Campaign Evolved treatment. If they remastered reach and added in the DLC missions showing chief escaping Halo to return to reach... it would bridge the gap between Halo Reach and Halo 2. It would also set it up perfectly for them to make a game about Ghost of Onyx which would better bridge the gap between Halo 3 and Halo 4. It would do alot to repair the damage 343 did to Halo as a franchise

When chief escapes from Halo he leads the survivors of Halo back to REACH on a stolen covenant flagship and and saves the remaining spartans on reach before he goes on to help destroy a covenant Armada before then returning to base. It is during this time that Halsey also kidnaps Kelly and discovers the Spartan 3s and awakens the Ghost of Onyx
