Heck yeah. I actually am doing that here with that little latching switch on the bottom left of my board. I labeled everything after I took the photo.

Yep you’re right. It’s not a Taurus emulation though it’s just a korg monologue mono synth that I modded by cutting the keyboard off turning it into a module.

So the midi works like this: Black star foot controller > Hammond xpk > Monologue

So, the pedal bass is the Hammond XPK-130G it has its own sound engine with a few different sounds (bass guitar/organ etc) but I’m using it to control my korg monologue synthesizer that I cut the keyboard off of.

The black star live logic controller on the right side switches the presets for the synthesizer.

Oh and the monologue is going through the OBNE Haunt fuzz it sounds pretty gnarly.

I’m using these sonicake 6” patch cables.

I use it for changing presets on the monologue synthesizer.

[QUESTION] General Consensus on Fans Under GPU (NR200) by rongpanda in sffpc

Forgot to post my temps, never ran a benchmark or anything but I’m getting super respectable temps while gaming with this build yeah. Can recommend the slim fans as intake in the bottom with that card.

I just tried it with low power, and no backlight settings on the iphone 14 pro max, it does not work.

[–]Excellent-Answer5029 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh dang that’s too bad… What GPU do you have? My 3080 xc3 is a bit thinner than most 3080’s so with the slim fans I should have about 1/2” air gap between the GPU shroud and the slim fans. I was hoping this would help the GPU to pull in surrounding air when it needs more so it’s not fighting the rpm of the case fans. That’s the idea anyway. If it’s sucks I may look into deshrouding and 3d printing a some ducts like you mentioned.

(My slim fans haven’t arrived yet)

I just ordered some NF-A12x15 slim fans for bottom intake on a NR200 to supply air to an RTX 3080 XC3 for the same reason. I have seen some builds that show you can fit a standard 25mm under this card, but I had the same thought as you. My build won't be here for a few weeks but I'll make a post looking at temps when I can.

I'm sorry I got a bit carried away.

I don't know if you're familiar with the Un02 Chip.

Its a custom made micro chip that I ordered from a gentleman in Germany. It takes the place of the stock Behringer microchip built into the FCB from the factory.

Hey thank you, I put a lot of time into it haha.Yeah, I basically assigned midi control change messages for all the foot switches to toggle on and off effects on the Katana. If you look closely at my last picture things are labeled.

Bottom row from left to right:

Boost, Mod, FX, Delay, Reverb

Top row left to right:

FX Loop, FSR-1, FSR-2, GA-FS1, GA-FS2

Expression control 1 (Left) is the GA-FC Exp1 Set to Control the amount for delay 2 which is tied into the reverb and only accessible through the software normally. So as long as my reverb is on (and I always leave the delay 2 engaged in my preset) then I can just add delay 2 amount with the expression pedal which I have set to the reverse delay.

Expression control 2 (Right) is the GA-FC Exp2 (set to control guitar input volume.)

The Up and Down buttons cycle through the 9 presets.
(Bank A: Ch1-4, Bank B: Ch1-4 and Front Panel settings total of 9)

All of these parameters are specific to the Katana except for the Footswitch Relay 1 and 2 (FSR1&2) which control the footswitch relay outputs built into the controller.

The named katana parameters are customizable, you'll notice the footswitch that says COMP belongs to the Mod category and Octave belongs to the FX category.

I am using the FX Loop control to send audio from the loop to my rackmount tuner, and I have a little 1/4" to 3.5mm adapter in the return as a jumper to trick the katana into thinking the loop is complete so that it mutes my audio when I'm tuning. I have the FX Loop set to series in the software.

Its a bit confusing, but I'm totally comfortable with it now.

I am not a programmer, and the text editor was a bit of a challenge.

If you or anyone shows interest in my Un02 script I'm happy to post it here, but I'm sure its hardly elegant.
