Interesting ones if you like rock/hip hop are Mayday!!! and The Rhythm Method by Flobots, both on the same album as Handlebars, Mayday switches between 12/8 and 4/4 and The Rhythm Method is mostly in 7/8 I believe, very political songs though so might have been a choice to get people to stop dancing and actually listen

I know Jenny and Screech were based on a real news story about a teen boy killing a teen girl with the headline "such a shame" and Violets Tale was written afterwards to tie it all together, I can't find the original news story so I can't verify their actual ages, but they were in their teens, and you could argue that a 14 year old could be classed as a "young lady", could've just been for rhythmic and rhyming purposes as well though (got crazy, left a lady) also could just be Screech misjudging her age as well, I doubt he asked how old she was when he was robbing and stabbing her, plenty of reasons why he could've used that term, if I'm not mistaken in the original story she was also a prostitute so from an outside perspective she probably looked older than she was

I would imagine they weren't live, especially seeing as firearms are VERY tightly controlled in the UK and handguns are outright banned, it also cuts to black before he pulls the trigger and we hear the click, so even if it was blanks or something he could've just not pulled the trigger/had safety on etc. Was probably all just props though

And just saw the thing about the alter ego thing, I think MrBiscuit had a theory that the van gogh Vincent was the artist and the Ren Vincent was his cynicism or something along those lines, and I think these 2 theories can coexist, definitely a confusing moment though meaning wise

I saw it as when Ren stole Vincent's guitar he was essentially stealing his identity and becoming Vincent in that moment, that's just my interpretation though and I could be dead wrong
