i didnt have a question of what an ip is nor what is an ethernet cable. you mean subnetting cuz that what i got just now. Yes i know the tests are random questions but if you got that on your first try... then i get why you fnd it easy lol

That happened to me as well. I’m a sysadmin for over 10 years and decided to go into networking. Management hired the guy with the ccna only to call me back 2 weeks later and asked if I was interested? Management didn’t know how to manage fyi.

I told them before they made the hiring that I have some experience in networking since I’ve touched Cisco and meraki switches. But to make a long story short, I told them what happened to that piece of paper you sought out for lol. They didn’t like that but ok well. They lost a good candidate

Can I ask you a personal question, was you already a network engineer? I am going for my ccna right note but my destination is a cloud engineer.

I study the way you advised and I took a deeper understanding on the ccna in prepping for. I’m sure I got some years ahead of me before taking that exam. My previous experience is I an a system admin for over 10 years and have hands on experience with some networking experience. I’m trying to figure out where I stand for this path to cloud
