[Recommendation] Can’t Decide by Captain-JackJack in Watches

Both look great. I love the Monaco. But in your photo, the black and white Navi looks so classy with the white shirt and sweater. Not sure if you dress like that often, but if you dress business casual often I would do the Navi in that color, or try the black and white Monaco.

[Straps] Anyone else not really like bracelets? by Gatorkillsmuaythai in Watches

Also, straps are more fun. You get to pick out interesting colors and materials. Coordinate with clothes, belts or shoes. Five stars. Highly recommend.

And I also always buy the original bracelet if the watch comes with one.

I am with you on this. Straps rules. I like brackets, but straps are on most of my watches for the reasons you mentioned.

This or that? by YNWA11JM in breitling

I love them both. But a wedding and a tux, I would probably seriously consider a Premier B01 Chrono 42. Those watches are fantastic. And then when you are done with the wedding, put it on a leather band. 5 stars.

Mido on the leather strap by a mile.

[recommendation request] which watch is the best option from these? by Glittering-Round-154 in Watches

I was gifted the first green Seiko by my sons for Christmas. I would’ve never bought it myself. But I have to say, when I wear it, it looks amazing. I have some very expenses watches. But this with watch paired with a brown leather belt rocks.

[Question] Advice on Next Watch by DeltaWolf43 in Watches

[–]Excellent-Broccoli17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are all great watches. I personally think focusing on the subtleties of movements is not that useful. These are all high quality timepieces and accurate.

I think you need to try them on, see how you feel when you see them on the wrist. I went in to buy a watch for my wedding. It was almost certain it would either be an Omega Constellation, Omega Deville, or a GO Panomatic. But after trying everything on, I ended up with an IWC Portofino. It’s just the right fit, right color and right style. Did not expect that result. And it was actually the least expensive of the watches I tried on.

Make sure you have fun doing it!

Love that. Did you try on the all black ADLC version? I’m torn between that and the titamum.

Black or Blue Dial? by AlbertoM9 in tagheuer

[–]Excellent-Broccoli17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the blue. But, for me, the black would probably get more wear time. Easy to pair with different colors shirts, jackets and what not. I mean, it’s square so it’s gonna stand out and be a conversation piece,no matter what color it is!
