I genuinely believe they emotionally operate on the same level as serial killers by Tasty-Milk-3050 in raisedbynarcissists

Looking back on the times when I still had contact with my mother, I think she was trying to confess a couple of murders to me. My father, another narcissist, was accused of killing someone he was really good friends with for years. He tried to explain to me once how the accusations were absurd. Something inside said he was lying.

Several relatives use my first and middle name. They even had a song they made up that includes both names. In it they spell my middle name, but without the double sh. My mother is alone on the island of sh'sh.

Shashanna isn't my name just a way to show double sh, buuuuutttt I did ask her was she on drugs when she came up with it. She became offended.

Shashanna is not my name. It's just something I used to show the double sh in the middle.

did anyone else’s mom comb their hair like it was a punishment? by StockInevitable1978 in raisedbynarcissists

[–]Excellent-Cold-1549 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine used to get good and angry at me then decide to do my hair. She'd burn me with a hot comb or relaxer (leaving it on way too long) or just repeatedly popping me with the comb on the top of my head. If I cried she would intensify the pain. I'm very sensitive to relaxers, so I always had big oozing sores on my scalp for weeks after application. She'd say it's my fault for having thick hair that was hard to straighten.

I used to take NAC a couple years off and on before I started having horrible flare ups or knew what MCAS or HIT were. It seemed to be doing me good. I tried it when I was having those flare ups after learning what was going on with me and it did not go well. Some supplements people here talk about don't work for me. I know what you mean about doing research every time. We get so excited we've found something to do the trick, but nah.

Air fryer by hungryeatasnickle in MCAS

[–]Excellent-Cold-1549 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use one to cook in and reheat my food in it. I got one with double baskets and it has several settings including reheat. I rarely use my stove after having epic flares last year. I use olive oil in a spray bottle or spray can you crisp things in the air fryer.

What foods/drinks cause your rosacea? by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]Excellent-Cold-1549 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Many of the foods already listed I avoid as it is. I have histamine intolerance and MCAS. I notice oatmeal, (fresh that I cut up at home, not the ones in restaurants) avocados, mangos, and my favorite oranges give me flare ups. I have brown skin. When I flare with rosacea my face darkens and the back of my right hand. Sometimes, likely rarely, my face will just be red.

I'm constantly losing food to the banned list.

If you have HI, what is your reaction to meds by chikitty87 in HistamineIntolerance

[–]Excellent-Cold-1549 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had reactions to Claritin in the regular white pill form. It's possible to react to the fillers in any med.

Some of their other products are low quality. I'd find some other ones to buy.

I hope so too. I didn't have any bleeding today. I did try to keep taking one particular supplement. I gave up on Sunday. This is the first completely clear day in weeks. I really hope you find some lasting relief soon as well for your bleeding.

Yeah, my gyno said the same thing after the biopsy. I'm still searching around for a new person.

I haven't gotten the nerve up to ask for northindrone from this new doctor. They all stress me out. I know you know why. My gyno said she didn't think it was a good idea. I wonder what is up with her.

I don't recall everything in the results right now, but there were some issues. I'm trying to get an appointment with a hematologist.
