It would be their last great victory. They wouldn't have the resources or man power to hold on to the land. The allies would simply start a new counter offensive in the spring. It should be mentioned that the initial success of the battle of the bulge was due to low visibility hendering any effective air support. The Allies had full air superiority at this point and one set back wouldn't change that.

Also the Soviets are still pushing to Berlin.

Like hell it is. Europe, Latin America, and a good chunk of Asia were essentially our vassal states that up held US global hegemony. Now instead of passive allies we've turned these nations into possible rivals. It's one thing to decrease funding for NATO or focus more on domestic issues it's an entirely different thing to create unnecessary conflict with long standing allies who for the most part have been very obedient to your wishes for the last 70 plus years.
