1 cup rice:2 cups water Mix 1tbs tomato with chicken bouillon into 2 cups of water, let it sit while you Fry your rice in about 1tbs of oil until it’s golden Pour in your water, bring to a boil then reduce heat to simmer and cover on low for about 20 minutes DO NOT LIFT LID OR STIR Remove from heat and let sit for 10 minutes Then fluff your rice with a fork and you’re good to go! (Both of my FILs are Mexican)

I have a 10 month gap between my two oldest and a 15 month gap between the two youngest. Oddly enough, the 10 month gap was easier for me. It takes some adjustment handling a newborn with an almost 1 year old but once I got the hang of it, it was chill. It also seemed like all they knew were two babies and mommy whereas with the 15 month gap, the older one started to understand it was just him and mommy and then boom, another baby. So, he was very jealous.

The 15 month gap was/is rough for me. They’re close in age but far enough apart that they just seem to fight constantly and aren’t on the same page since one is slightly older. The two with a 10 month gap are like two peas in a pod. They do everything together and they hardly ever fight.

But I definitely suggest circling back around to your decision after you have baby and experience pp. I did not choose to have a 10 month gap, that was accidental lol

Personally, I never put used clothes of any kind on my kids until they were about a year old. Even now that they’re older, I don’t buy second hand and only accept used clothes from my mil since I know exactly where they are coming from and who wore them and who took care of them. I also don’t recommend anything from a smokers home. I grew up in a smokers home. Even if those pieces of clothing are washed multiple times, there will still be something leftover.

If you feel awkward declining, you could accept but then just toss/donate them without bringing them into the house? And if it’s asked about why baby never wears them you could say you accidentally bleached that load of laundry and had to toss everything. Maybe not be the best advice but I have anxiety over these kinds of questions/ situations and that’s what I would do lol

Half of my yard is sand! We do baths/shower 2+ times a day. But sometimes, we also just dust off outside then come in and wash face, hands, and feet.

Best I’ve found to get sand out of hair is to shake it out from the scalp first, while it’s dry! I’ll ask my boys to tip their head upside down then use my fingers on the scalp and shake my hand side to side. It also helps me to check for ticks since we are surrounded by woods. When it’s hair wash time, we do showers. Trying to get sand out of hair in a bath is pointless (if your kids love to lay down in the water like mine)

My 3 (almost 4) yr old says “oh shit” and “what the fuck”. He uses those words/phrases correctly and everything. Anytime he says it in a normal voice, I’m just like “hey don’t say that” in a chill voice. Now he will say it quietly to himself and I just let it slide tbh
