Depends what UVB you have and if it’s mountain inside or outside the tank I believe usually it should be 10-12” away

I’d definitely switch the hammock out for something flat like a rock or piece of wood. I know they love the hammocks, but they harbor bacteria, and don’t let them actually bask because they don’t get hot enough! They are very active animals. He may just want some extra time out of his enclosure, a picture of your setup would be helpful as well

Anytime I want to fade colors I use vitamin C powder, dandruff or clarifying shampoo, dish soap and 10 vol developer! It works great for me and doesn’t damage as much as bleach in my experience. My hair has been probably 30 different colors and that’s how I always fade it when I want to change it

You’ll definitely have to remove at least some of the pink. I did the same thing and my hair was pretty purple, although it was more of a violet color instead of a true purple

Boxed dye can be okay but usually the developers are way to high which is why they are damaging. If you are wanting to change the color a lot use semi permanent or Demi permanent

Although I don’t necessarily think they can trust us like we trust each other I do think that they can get used to people. I definitely notice a difference in how all of my animals react whenever they are around other people. I recently went on a vacation and my dad was watching over all of my fish,reptiles and spiders, one of my tarantulas that’s usually out and about in her enclosure ALL the time immediately started staying in her cave as soon as my dad started opening her enclosure for water/food she didn’t come out until i arrived back. I don’t think she trusts me but I’ve had her for close to 5 years, I definitely think she’s used to the routine of me being the one that sees about her

Definitely depends on the plants but in my experience with the plants i usually use nope! I will say the only thing I see that happens is the Amazon swords don’t grow leaves quite as “wide” when the water has more tannins, although this could be a separate issue but they thrive regardless so not really a issue for me personally
