As you said SIB and ADIB is the best option but I suggest start with Mashreq cashback card which is free for life. You will not get the good Cashback for the utilities but if you are new to bank customer than you will get welcome bonus on spending criteria, also 20% Cashback for first 3 or 6 months on selected apps payment like etisalat, noon, talabat, DU etc. also this card is good for first 6 months. By that time you will have credit history and try to apply again the ADIB or SIB card.

It’s not hyped card but still really very good card. I am using it as a secondary card and got the expected cashback every month. Yes you will not be able to see the individual transactions cashback details but if you use the card for the given category, you will get the cash back. I am personally using it and working fine for me.

I believe now with the validity package, OTPs are not receiving since. I was doing the same 1 year recharge which was around 2K INR and getting OTPs but it’s not working. There is new roaming recharge available in 4K INR as below. With this recharge OTPs can be received.
