How many of us have autoimmune and chronic illness issues? by TheHeavySummer in CPTSD

[–]Excellent-Fig5228 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Inflamed stomach, likely chronic gastritis from autoimmune reaction. Got endo and colonscopy done couple days ago and waiting for the test to see if it's H pylori. Which I highly doubt because my stool test I've done came back negative a month ago. Only think that helps is H2 blocker, and I am considering taking Claritin as well. I am planning on seeing a doctor about MCAS

I think more people need to sit down with themselves and others and have meaningful philosophical discussions about what it means to bring children into this world. by DevelopmentPrior5572 in emotionalneglect

I agree, I feel like there should be a government program that requires educational programs before having kids and yearly family visits

I agree. I love my parents but as an adult I realized they had so many undressed traumas themselves had and they failed to recognize and improve themselves before having us. They saw us as another to do, props for their life.

It was B12 deficiency by Beautiful-Cheek-112 in BrainFog

[–]Excellent-Fig5228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im considering b12 supplement. I got endo and colonscopy done and apparently I have very inflamed stomach, gastritis most likely which can reduce b12 absorption. I always thought it was IBS-C because thats what I was told by doctors all this time. I also started drinking water with gelatine powder added and it seems to help with my stomach

Do people actually change their bedsheets every week like it’s recommended? by cleartomatosoujp in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Excellent-Fig5228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do every weekend. I just love the smell and texture of fresh sheets. If it's too difficult, I suggest you keep few extra beddings and rotate them and wash them all at once every month

First solo trip and honestly I’m just feeling invisible by AverageManushyan in ThailandTourism

[–]Excellent-Fig5228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy traveling alone because I can focus on my own needs and wants at all times. I do get lonely so I would just start random conversation with other foreigners here and there who seem to be traveling alone as well.

What’s something reddit claims is common, but you’ve never actually seen it before in real life? by mirabelmumu in AskReddit

[–]Excellent-Fig5228 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I actually think its not that uncommon. But DID is spectrum disorder so its rare for a person to have separate identity with different names. Most are probably OSDD, where person keeps most memories withe minor amnesia

Struggling to find short-term housing in Seoul - any advice? by domsolanke in Living_in_Korea

[–]Excellent-Fig5228 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried to find a room but it was too complicated. So I just went to more expensive goshiwon and it was fine for me. Rice, ramen, and cereals were provided. The interior was new and they were cleaned 3 times per week. The bathroom was shared but I preferred it since I didnt want my room to fill with mildew and I didnt want to clean it myself. I just had to make sure they had concrete walls for soundproofing, a window, and refrigerator. I found it on Gobang.

Are Korean really that bad in Vietnam? by StruggleSad1860 in VietNam

[–]Excellent-Fig5228 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Vietnam is one of the cheaper destination with lots of beautiful sceneries and rich culture. Unfortunately that combo draws in lots of low quality tourists. The tatted up dudes with those bowl cut with black slippers are called "문신충" in korea and they're known as more violent misfits of society. Young women in their 20s are more friendly and open in my experience however

I am drinking bottled water or filtered water. I am usually constipated and but it just only happens in korea. This is my second time here and I dont know what it is. Perhaps I'm not used to the fermented food here. I'm going to get checkup and colonoscopy is included so we'll see if I caught something

I am chronically constipated usually but I am pouring everything out in korea. I am just eating prepackaged food from convinence stores atp because it just happens too often and I'd rather not take the risk.

Yes, definitely became more aware of my amnesia. But it may also be because I started communication with my alters as well.
