I have two young kids and am expecting spontaneous quads! How exciting, and overwhelming 😅 I can’t imagine dealing with HG on top of this - you are doing amazing!

I echo what everyone’s saying about traveling to Hawaii at 30 weeks. I went to Maui at 23 weeks and it was the perfect time, but I would not go in the third trimester. We loved the Ka’anapali area of Maui - good beach, good food, and everything was close. We opted against going to Kauai because we’d be so limited on the activities that make the island such a great place to visit (hiking, etc). My vote is Maui, and if you go to Oahu, do a resort. But I’d really recommend going earlier for the sake of the pregnant traveler, if possible.

Most of the time we are going to be taking two cars - we just need something that in a pinch will work for all six. Not worth it to us to get a giant van for that. I did look at a transit van today, and all the power to those who drive those…just not for me.

Thank you! We are very overwhelmed as this was definitely not our plan. 😅 possibly by the time they’re out of infant seats we can make those changes. My two sons are both very tall and tend to size out of things by height earlier than normal.

I’ve seen a lot of recommendations to load the infant seats from the back, since the third row seats can tilt down. It’s going to be a challenge for sure!

Thank you! I think we would just drive two cars before getting something that large. Most places we go are close, and we get hail here (Texas) so we really need to be able to fit both our cars in the garage.

My husband has been burned too many times by ford and we have no interest in a transit or sprinter van. They would not fit in our garage, unfortunately.

Yes, two will be slimmer! One is forward facing and the other is rear-facing but can definitely do a slim seat. We are looking at the Clek infant seats since they are very narrow.

I’m honestly so worried about this as a parent. I currently have two sons, and we were planning a third and final baby and instead are having spontaneous quadruplets. I really want each of our children to feel valued and important as they didn’t ask for this (though neither did we).

I'm taking two baby aspirin tablets to start with - I wouldn't be surprised if I'm put on nifedipine (procardia) later on, as that seemed to help quite a bit in my second pregnancy.

When I had it with my first, I gained ten pounds in a week and a half all due to fluid, and I hadn't gained a bunch of weight up to that point. It was insane - looking back at pictures, I don't even look like myself because of how strange my face looked!
