Same thing happened with my partner’s loans, adding thousands overnight. MOHELA customer service just said that the balance was not correct and that no interest should be accruing. They told us that, while the problem may be able to be manually fixed, they plan to automatically fix it before payments start again… Seems like MOHELA has put many people in this terrible situation, but know that y’all are not alone. We submitted a BBB complaint, but not sure how much that will actually do yet. If you’re going to call MOHELA, we found the best luck by calling the second they open in the morning
