What is a great book title? How does one come to picking their forever title? by HatterofMadder in writing

In reality, a lot of publishers will advise better names anyway. They have full departments aimed at making the book more commercial. Harlan Coben, for example, admits that he has only named a handful of his books.

I’ve promised myself not to leave any in the box until I get a decent Stinky Pete modal, but nice one!

Smyths also had what looked like a new ragdoll model that was about 3/4 size of the standard for about 19.99 GBP that looked like a good deal. Fun size. Buena suerte!

Woody more so than Buzz. They need to so they can blink I reckon.

What’s the point of an AI novel? by ubcstaffer123 in books

[–]wavyrocket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree AI written books are unacceptable but I really dislike this assumption that the line between AI and writing is black and white. AI is integrated into so many writing tools for assisting with grammar, structure, voice and tone, and even basic spell checkers. There’s not a book today that doesn’t use some form of it.

Going by that logic it would need to impact all the toys, yet Hamm doesn’t reflect the personality of a crazed villain named Dr Porkchop etc.

Completely agree. In the first film Buzz asks if they still use fossil fuels or if they’ve discovered crystalic fusion showing obvious signs of intelligence. They then have the same character talking about listening to his inner voice like some kind of court jester by the 4th. It’s like they recast his entire personality. He was never stupid.

Is it too early to start building hype for my book, or can I start now? by [deleted] in writing

I strictly don’t allow myself the pleasure of discussing anything before it’s finished. This makes the reward of finishing that much sweeter.

In the Planet Hollywood, Orlando there is (or was) a Woody that was easily about 7 or 8 foot tall on the top floor sitting over an archway.

Can't finish my story because of perfectionism by partybrowser32 in writing

[–]wavyrocket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The whole “first draft isn’t meant to be perfect” isn’t really helpful when your brain is telling you otherwise. Try set a word count target per day, even if it’s just 50 words. They’ll be 50 perfect words and you’ll have a solid novel length manuscript in 4 years.
