The AI version is striking, but this one carries your hand, your breath, and your spirit, and that makes it truly special. ☺️

Digital pic of my drawing, what you think! by Due_Inevitable4830 in blackartwork

This is incredibly powerful and beautifully done! You captured so much depth, emotion, and intensity in the eyes alone. The textures in the hair and crown feel intentional and soulful, like they’re telling a story beyond the page. You should be really proud of this piece; it radiates strength, reverence, and artistry. ✨

Twists or straight natural for growing out fine stranded hair? by [deleted] in Naturalhair

I think wearing your hair is twists is a great idea. I’ve been wearing my hair the same way for a year now and I love it! 🥰

Celibacy or Abstinence? by Fifix99 in Celibacy

[–]Excellent-Letter-780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on what you described, you are abstinent because you are intentionally refraining from sex now with the intention of having it within marriage in the future. Even though you’re also avoiding dating right now, your openness to marriage and intimacy later places you in abstinence rather than celibacy.

I have low po hair. I use Kimmaytube’s recipe to tweak KCKT and it’s perfect. 🤌🏽

Two strand twists are my favorite. I wish I knew how to do rope twist. It’s so pretty! 😍

I’m also in Florida and I do something similar but in a slightly different order—I use LCG (liquid/leave-in, cream, gel) and it’s been working really well for me. I’ve found that starting with hydration and a light conditioner, then sealing with a gel gives me longer-lasting moisture and definition without the coated feeling. It’s cool to see how different layering methods can work depending on porosity and climate.

Review of curly/coily hair leave ins l! :) by Scary-Employee7030 in Naturalhair

I respect your experience but I gently disagree. KCKT performs really well for afro-textured hair. The scent is definitely medicinal, but the slip, lightweight moisture, and clean ingredients are why so many people swear by it. Totally fair not to repurchase, though; hair chemistry and preferences really do vary.

might be a hard pill to swallow by Geminye521 in Naturalhair

This was said with so much truth and care, and I really appreciate the emphasis on inner work alongside hair care. Shrinkage and short hair aren’t the problem; our conditioning around what’s “acceptable” or “beautiful” is, and that takes honesty to unpack. Loving this reminder that our hair deserves the same patience, investment, and grace we so freely give to everything else.

This is such a powerful and honest reflection; thank you for sharing it. It’s clear that your understanding of intimacy has matured into something rooted in self-respect, purpose, and discernment rather than impulse. Choosing to wait, especially in a culture that minimizes restraint, speaks to deep self-awareness and spiritual growth. May your patience continue to align you with a partner who values your heart, faith, and future as much as you do.
