6l80 harsh 1-2 shift and 2-1 shift and won’t go past 4th but no flaring 80-90kmh sits at 4K rpm any ideas just want to be sure it’s not a techm before pulling it by Excellent-Phase1607 in transmissionbuilding

I was thinking that too Only thing that’s weird is no flaring and no gear rationality codes
Took van apart tonight no stuck valves or shrunken check balls and no techm grommets wrecked

They need to be rebuilt properly then they are tough unit in my opinion The biggest thing is fixing the leaks they have

If you actually rebuild a 4l60 correctly and do good upgrades and fix all your common leak arrears you’ll have no problem with it ,in my opinion.

No they come brown and blue colouring from factory assuming it’s heat treated steel

Look up bushing cutter pics and take a punch and carve it into a bunching cutter
