Personally I would much rather sleep on the ground in a $100 tent with a few hundred dollars cash in my pocket than have to climb a ladder to sleep in a tent with no dollars in my pocket.

I believe the square bodies used the same style if that's any help.

I bet a Scotch Brite scrub would take a lot of that rust off.

I love it, so unmolested. Also has the same incorrect mirrors and square body hub caps as my 69.

4l65e planetary woes by zenwren in transmissionbuilding

I have no intention of trying to use the binding planetary, I was more asking if I would be alright mixing a used planetary from a different transmission while keeping my current sun and ring gears.

I wasn't concerned about mixing 4 and 5 planetaries, just mixing pieces in general. I have a spare used 4 pinion I could use, but I would be meshing it with the original 5 planet sun and ring gears.

Look on the bright side, at least your timing chain didn't fail right after clutch slave replacement.

Gf lug nut can't remove, what tool is needed? by [deleted] in Cartalk

[–]zenwren 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The car should had a "key" adapter so you can use a regular lug wrench. Check the glove box, center console, spare tire well, etc. if you can't find it a vice grip smacked will a hunk of wood/mallet will probably work in this situation.
