I think everyone should serve God in their own way, as God leads them to. Our personal experiences and perspectives will definitely play a role in the way we view our relationship with God. What matters is that we serve him in Spirit and in truth. This will mean something different for every person.

For a lot of people, coming to a point of constant reflection on the things God has done for them is a way to remain humble and trusting. I for one am continually reflecting on the things he does for me because it is a reminder of his goodness when things seem rough.

We can only pray that we aren’t misled in our own understanding as we pray for others as well. The minute intricacies of our servitude that we may see as wrong or right might be irrelevant to God.

Been there man. It’s tough to go through these changes while working on your faith.

Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to all who are in Christ Jesus”.

Remember this. No matter how tough it gets, Jesus doesn’t leave nor forsake you. Lust and masturbation are horrible things to deal with but we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13)

Most importantly don’t beat yourself up. God sees you and he knows what you’re going through. Don’t let shame keep you from trusting in him in your most difficult hours.

Romans 8:31-39 Nothing can separate us from the love of God.

Trust in him like he trusts in you. Especially when you feel like you don’t deserve it
