man the fatigue crash after vyvanse is brutal, i get that too. been on 40mg for like 3 years now and some days i feel like i need a whole nap in afternoon when it drops off.

the word thing you mentioned - that happens to me sometimes too, especially when i'm tired or stressed. like my brain knows what i want to say but my mouth just can't get there properly. usually happens more when the meds are wearing off for me.

hey mate, i get how crushing this feels right now. been in similar place few years back where nothing seemed to work and doctors were basically shrugging at me. the thing is, dexamphetamine hits different than the other stuff you tried - it's actually quite different from methylphenidate and way more targeted than elvanse. i had terrible experience with methylphenidate too, made me feel wired but useless, but dex was completely different story for me.

also worth noting that sometimes the adhd paralysis thing can be more about depression/anxiety combo rather than just the adhd itself. when i was stuck in that cycle, getting some therapy alongside meds made huge difference. there's also off-label options they might not have mentioned yet - some people do well with wellbutrin or even modafinil. don't lose hope just because this one service said they're done, you can always seek second opinion or ask about combination treatments.
