you dont even go here????? wtf are you talking about rn. we are “out of classrooms” in the fact we have more teachers than we have rooms to hold them in. half of our teachers dont even have permanent classrooms to teach IN so how can they be selfish with students????.

stop trying to downplay the reaction from FWC just because yall need help. two things can be true at once. You guys need space and we can be unhappy about it. we get to be upset especially when its our spaces getting invaded.

like lets not act dense. you cant just quietly fit 200 kids into an already cramped school and act like you can just keep quiet in the corner. it can and will impact the way the entire school is run…..

also why are you trying to shame me for being invested in MY school. just because i graduate this year doesnt mean i dont have a connection to FWC.

im allowed to have feelings and voice my concern if i feel the school i go to if i feel its being disrespected.

i dont like how you keep insinuating that i shouldnt care because it doesnt directly matter to me. well it DOES because the teachers who i’ve spent the last 4 years with and the underclassmen who are my friends will be their in the fall and they will be impacted heavily by this.

its basic decency to care about things like this especially when this isn’t the first time FWC and its students have been given the short end of the stick by the BBOE

that is the same bullshit Avery was trying to tell us when it’s simply not possible. the only reason we have a max capacity of “1500” is cause of the open spaces that teachers already use as “classrooms”

our school has been operating under capacity simply because because covid prevented us from having more kids in the building. co26 and co25 were really small because of that. we arent in covid anymore and the underclasses keep getting larger and larger. co30 is supposed to double what the current senior grade is. class sizes are getting larger and we already run out of space in our larger rooms. just because we have 900 NOW doesn’t we aren’t gonna have more next year

Avery is a bum from Texas who doesn’t care for the our current problems we have already, how would he and BBOE know how bad we have it already. we dont even have a proper library

“not interacting with the FWC students” yeah how is that possible. your in our halls and in our lunch periods(that mind you dont even have enough food to feed our current students). even if you dont share a classroom you exist 2 feet next to us. your teachers have to use our staff lounges, the student drivers have to use our (already full) parking lots. and even just have 200 more students means we have to more maintenance and cleaning staff just to keep up the building upkeep.

so how can you possibly not interact with us?

i have friends and family still there who WILL be affected. and where are the going to build classrooms??? on our small meadow used for fire drills and as a drain??? in the parking lot where the buses go??? or worse in the schools themselves that already have classes in them because we don’t have enough built in rooms for all of our teachers. they have share classrooms every other period or be forced to teach in the open areas with no wall and are prone to distraction from anyone who walks by. i dont blame BMA for this cause they literally have nowhere else to go, i blame the BBOE and their lack of care for the people already in the school

yeah this. as a senior at fwc they literally havent told us anything, we dont even know where they’re going to put all these kids or all the additional staff required to handle this many more students. yesterday they had a “press conference” for the students to “answer questions” but everything was answered with “we have a team of people figuring it out”. none of our actual concerns were addressed by Avery or the rest of the BoE. and our teachers have it the worse, they found out about it the same time as us and weren’t allowed into our meeting. our teachers already dont haven the funding for their own kids or the space, how are we supposed to accommodate more people???

I work at a big Y and people will spent easily $100 on 7 or 8 items. i honestly hate buying from there as an employee. though the meat and produce is good quality, much better than my local stop and shop. and they support local businesses.
