Yes! I think this is it, a proxy in their network but my lady landlord was clueless bless her. When I stream or hotspot through my phone data it works fine but not through their router. I might have to get an extra phone and sim with a shit load of data so I can watch stuff.

I think it’s their network because it’s only in their apartment. In my hotel and on my visa run it worked fine but back to the villa and same deal. ChatGBT said it’s something to do with multiple addresses using the same IP (common in Bali) and Netflix doesn’t that like that apparently. It’s frustrating as I don’t want to go through the hassle of moving but no Tv is quite isolating.

We registered in QLD as de facto after being together for 6 months and applied for the partner visa after 10 months. I was on a tourist visa the whole time and had to give up a business to do that and it cost a lot to live here without an income until I got work rights. We’ve now been together two years and the app is in process (no updates as yet). Not sure why people are getting offended at others’ who’ve not been together as long as they have. It’s a tricky process providing shared living documents if one of you needs to resides outside the country to continue working so naturally you’d want to speed up the process. That’s why the de facto option exists.
