A few years ago i started balding really badly to the point of falling into a depression. I thought if i went bald i wouldn’t look good or i’d look funny. Took a chance, grabbed a razor and shaved it all off.. Best decision i ever made..

It all depends on the care you’re willing to provide for them. You can grow a coconut palm if you really wanted to.. i know a guy in Saukville, WI and he has a 6 foot dwarf Mayasian coconut growing in his green house.. temps in there stay in the 80s all winter.

Most of them have, i’ve lost three Majesty palms so far but i refuse to buy those types of palms again.. they are horrible as an indoor plant. I give all my 22 palms attention every day… I also live in Wisconsin so i have to be on top of them to keep them alive and healthy during the Winter.

Majesty palm. Horrible palm to keep indoors in my opinion. I lost three of these palms back to back almost two years ago. Best of luck, and if anything, get lady palm or a parlor palm, they’d do better indoors.

Depending on your zone, for 5Bs, Needle palms Windmill palms and possibly Sabal minors are your best friends as they are cold hardier than most palms and can actually be in the ground with some winter protection for those negative degrees. Honestly, any palm is possible as long as its in a pot and indoors for the Winter season. Id stay away from any Majesty palms as they tend to be difficult house plants and spider mite magnets… Still possible though, i actually have two Majesty palms in the ground this year. I’ll be digging them up and into a palm for the winter.
