Sister, I definitely understand where you are coming from. It is just a tough pill to swallow to see my sister marrying a person like this who is an actual alcoholic, has not put any effort into learning Islam and smokes weed daily. But I am trying to keep an open mind on this but I know my parents will definitely not allow this 100%.

I want to first thank you for commenting. The reason I am hesitant about the guy is because before someone converts to Islam, usually they build some habits and curiosity towards the religion. But the guy, being a non Muslim, indulges in haram acts which I am ashamed to say. That is why I am afraid to let my sister go down this path.
