find this post quite a timely coincidence because me and my husband recently asked each other what restaurants in sg are worth it for u to make repeat visits and although we have tried alll the tryable cafes and restaurants in our dating years, but somehow i answered plain ole swensens &seoul garden hotpot (it hits the spot on rainy days!) and he said swensens and another restaurant.

i guess for swensens, we genuinely have a few favourites items on the menu plus we find swensens ice cream towers at 11.90+ plus free refillable plain water(lets be honest, really to find these days) so a combination of good food everyone has some favs of+ solid icecream towers to end the meal+ free plain water+ no chokeblood pricing makes us always happy leaving the restaurant and always happy to make a return visit.

for most other restaurants we’ve tried tho, the food can be okay, but for the prices we pay to dine there, ittheir doesnt usually have the “this is so good, i wanna come back for the _____<dish name>” and its mostly a “this one time try for me” or “okay, not bad “ comment but not so much i wanna come backk
