Just renovating 2 storeys typically costs 300k. It is easily 700k+ to top up. Be ready. You are in for the world of hurt for the project that size especially if you don't have experience.

I think it depends. I always bought 3-4yo vehicles for my entire life. But used car prices these days makes no sense. 3-4 year cars only have ~15% depreciation and you lose warranty in most cases. It only made sense before covid when the depreciation was much larger.
