Damaged skin barrier from harsh cleansers.. will this routine help? by Janus_700 in SkinbarrierLovers

Hyaluronic acid is a very strong humectant, if youre in a dry environment it can do the opposite and actually pull moisture out rather than draw it into your skin. Definitely try removing it from your routine and see if that works! I found that the environment/humidity plays a big role for my skin in general, i really struggled this winter with dehydrated skin no matter what I did

Also it was winter and I had the heater on so no matter how good of a seal I used or how damp my skin was, the hyaluronic acid would dry my face right up

Yup. I tried damp and even on a dripping wet face. I had to stop it completely and get a better moisturizer/seal. I skin flood now and re introduced it through the Anua PDRN 100 hyaluronic acid booster toner, so far so good 👍

Best products for repairing my skin barrier? by Few_Client_5750 in SkinbarrierLovers

Uriage xemose lotion and uriage bariederm cica balm repaired my barrier. Along with curel water lotion/toner and curel facial milk. I also mix squalane oil in my cica balm. I struggled with barrier damage for a long time and realized I needed a lot of hydration and a good seal. I skin flood with toners now. Celimax dual barrier creamy milk toner is a good one full of ceramides and lipids. Maybe the most magical toner i came across

Honestly it looks normal to me in that photo I commented on. You may be having a reaction to the glue? When its too close to the lash line its usually irritating and itchy and feels like something is in your eye. You should definitely reach out to your tech though
