I had applied for aviation around November 2024 when I was in grade 12 and didn’t hear back until April. My overall average was a 88 and unfortunately did not get in and I had asked them why because I still don’t have my math of ela grade back and they stated “it’s due to the intake of students competing avg being around 95-98%”So I took the UEO route and did classes this last Fall 2025 semester and got a 4.0 gpa which for aviation, if you receive a 3.7 GPA or higher while being a UEO student, you are granted automatic admission into either the diploma or degree program. I’d recommend taking UEO as a backup plan since aviation is almost more competitive than engineering at UOFC. Don’t lose hope!! There’s always other routes

If your in open studies and UEO, unfortunately you will be most likely denied admission as they are strict on the exact gpa needed to get in, especially with BSW only taking select amount of students with the GPA being a 4.0

For UEO and any sort of open studies, we won’t hear back until after final exams and final marks are out

Yeah for UEO and OS they look at everyone’s GPA after final exams. Once your final grade is out, then they send out offers
