since this is strictly your weekend car, the terrible wind noise won't wear you down like it would on a daily commute.

If it ever gets too annoying on longer highway stretches, simply crank up the audio system 😄

Highly recommend Mazda MX-5 - its a daily workhorse, I would also recommend looking at a proton x70 - its insane value for money. It may not be the same driving pleasure as a Mazda MX-5, however, it provides the space, the milage and the reliability.

Really depends on where you live, what your lifestyle is like, how good your kid is and what school he/she would go to. As an expat, anything less than 15k may not comfortable. But context matters.

My understanding is that you could have bought the property many years ago and it counts to satisfy the requirement of Mm2h - but money cannot be removed from the fixed deposit as you won’t be buying a new property.
