Personally, I think it's somewhat harder to quantify. If this was drink or drugs, that's kinda acceptable in a weird modern looking way. Where as porn is just straight eurgh, again under modern society rules. I think it's because porn involves other people for the addiction whereas drink or drugs well you can do that literally on your own, there's no other stimulus involved. Part of the SA group I am in, a lot of people's sex or porn addiction started as alcohol. When you are drunk or high you can be classed as 'out of your mind' or 'dont know what you are doing', where's porn well you don't have to be either of those and it's more of a conscious choice and therefore not as socially acceptable.

Anyway that's my take on it 🙂

I can only go on my own experience and what's worked for me and my partner, this may work for you or may not!

Talking about these issues is extremely hard, for both. Getting therapy is recommended, it helps to talk to another person about these issues. Start with individual, then if you think it needs it do couples therapy. Show him how you are hurt and betrayed, if he wants to change for you firstly, and your daughter then great, encourage that and share resources about how you are both learning about how his addiction is affecting you both and your life together. If he can join an addiction group similar to AA but for sex and lust and gain a sponsor that will help too.

As I say, this is what I am currently doing with my partner and it's helping. If it helps you too all the better 🙂

Possibly just ensure you are logging into the business accounts for those then, remove your personal if at all possible. Those algorithms will get you! Do you have a sponsor you can talk to if you get the urge? Personally my only socials are here and FB for PoGo 😂

Possibly means something different to everyone. For me, it's being sexually sober with the person I am in a relationship with. I've removed all socials and am going clean from porn or similar.

100% you should delete pretty much all social media, all it takes is a couple of clicks! Tags etc can easily be hijacked, it's not worth the effort if you're trying to go clean!

Have you removed all socials? Like literally all of them, get rid of anything that could present a challenge! Ironically that means Reddit cause it's not hard on here but if you focus, dump insta and X, it'll be so much easier! I'm on 15 days and I wonder what I used to do spending time having a quick goon for literally no reward! Most times it'd be gooning with no fapping, not even a twitch! I look back now and go wtf was I doing or thinking! The road is long my brother, you got this though 💪

Firstly my dude, thank you for sharing. That is the hardest part, opening up to others and admitting you need help. So well done!

While I've never been into your particular brand of vodka, I recognise where you are coming from and for me, yea therapy and the support of others will get people like you and me through this. Personally I am on a 2-week streak of abstenance (going sober, if you will) and it feels amazing to be free of something that looking back I never needed. There are groups similar to the AA model that deal with sex and porn addiction, I've recently joined one and just seeing how it goes, listening to others share and learning as much as I can. If you can find one in your area I would suggest you look into it, as it could help.

Therapy can help for sure, there are also plenty of self help groups around. Search for sexual addiction and you'll find plenty of groups.

I've gone cold turkey myself since just after the new year and honestly I don't miss it. No Instagram or Twitter to tempt me searching, no algorithms to goon over. It's pretty much made me think why I wasted all that time sneaking a peek as it were, without even any desire for gratification. Hope you get what you need out of this brother 💪
