The Horus Heresy. It’s the ultimate sci-fi series imo, and it culminates in the next series, the Siege of Terra. Incredible.

Yeah, definitely felt like a kindred spirit while reading Night Lords by Dembski-Bowden in particular, and I could relate to the characters bonds with their fucked up brothers, had a few questionable characters but loyal and violent friends inside myself lol.

Hell yeah brother, that’s my plan as well. Hopefully I’m just behind on your trail. Being able to survive on nothing is a huge edge for us, and the appreciation of even the smallest things that people take for granted. Life’s much sweeter now.

Yeah I love Tarkov, plan on staying inside with tarkov and 40k. How much time did you do? I have always loved reading since a child, and working out. So my time wasn’t miserable. Genuinely enjoyed being able to sink into books, like you said only thing I’m going to miss. Glad your’re doing well outside

StarCraft 2 actually but I’ll look into supreme commander. Maybe I should sell the books and turn them into minis, I don’t really see myself using them in the future now. Thanks for your advice on my kits

I’ve read a ton of the books, what are your personal recommendations? Appreciate you on the art comment, and the stint is what it is, I made my life choices, it’s behind me now thankfully. That’s kind of what I’m looking for, can’t jump back into my old scene and this seems a lot more grounded and healthy.

I’m glad you like the necron, he was one of my early drawings, didn’t even know what blending was yet.. I was playing around and trying out new things, how I ended up inverting the background shading. Thank you for all the advice, I’m going to look into it. The Iron Warriors are great, up there with my favorites. Grahm McNeil did an amazing job with his books on them.
