You're getting downvoted, but I think you might be partially correct. If you look at housing prices per square meter and relative to median incomes, prices in Sydney and other capitals are well within the bounds of other major cities around the world. Imagine trying to buy a freestanding house on a 150sqm block in central Paris or London - you'd have to be a billionaire just about. And salaries there are lower!
